Members of Contemporary Art Tasmania (CAT), please join us for a guided tour and an informal talk with Unspoken Rule curator Stevie S. Han. Unspoken Rule is a group exhibition currently showing at CAT presenting Australian and international artists reflecting on identity. Please register at info@contemporaryart.org to attend. To become a member go to https://contemporaryarttasmania.worldsecuresystems.com/membership or contact Audience engagement coordinator Lisa Campbell-Smith at info@contemporaryart.org for more information.
The exhibition examines the shifting sense of political and cultural agency that finds urgency with many artists working today. The exhibition features commissioned work by local artist Liam James alongside the Australian premiere of Israeli artist, Roee Rosen’s video work The Dust Channel (2017) and major works by artists, Archie Barry, Louisa Bufardeci, Annika Koops and Artur Zmiljewski.
Numbers are limited! To attend this event please register before 15 February 2019. Light food and refreshments will be served on arrival.
