Join Embraced In The Loving Arms of an Algorithm v1.1 curator Jon Smeathers for a workshop on algorithmic curation.
During the workshops, participants will run through ELAAA’s structure to develop a theoretical exhibition and gain insight into the algorithm’s decision-making processes. Participants will undertake exercises and discuss recommendations for future iterations. Note: All data collected during the workshop will be included in the algorithms dataset. The workshops aim to reveal possibilities of algorithmic curation and offer an insight into how it feels to be embraced in the loving arms of an algorithm.
No previous prerequisites in art making, curatorial skills, mathematics, algorithmic languages or computer science are required. There is no registration process.
