Paul Greedy, David Haines, Jai McKenzie and Sean Rafferty use light differently and for differing lines of enquiry, but all use it to question notions of perception. The psycho-sensory type of experience particular to these artists’ work is brought to the fore through Principle Matter. It explores understanding through light, the principle matter involved in all visual experience.
