This work was originally commissioned by the Canadian Government to commemorate Stephane Mallarme and is taken from Mallarme’s poem Un Coup de des jamais n’abolira le hasard (Dice Thrown Never Annul Chance).
A spectacular video installation by an artist regarded as one of the foremost exponents of this art form in the world. Bill Seaman was unable to attend the opening but indicated his satisfaction with the ‘cinematic’ installation mode adopted by CAST.
